Must have been a misunderstanding. I realise Fuz is a very busy man, whilst I have all the time in the world, so I wholeheartedly apologise for disturbing him. He would probably have mentioned that without Carl, we never stood a chance, against a proper cricket team; they certainly seemed very keen, with their first players arriving as early as 5pm.
Anyway bowled well (except Olli who had a mare) and fielded well to restrict them to just 110.Jamie had a good spell, although, last week, he claimed he wasn't a bowler, but obviously changed his mind, having seen what we classify as good bowling ! Batting looked a bit fragile (Fuz excepted) and we never really saw enough loose bowling to get in the hunt. Congratulations to Nic who managed to score & umpire at the same time- quite an achievement for a bloke !
